Past GOOS Newsletters
Dear Colleagues,
We have now managed to put most of the documents for the 6th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for GOOS on the GOOS web site at: http://ioc.unesco.org/goos/ig6/IG6_doclst.htm.
The documents list contains two kinds of documents. Those in brown are the Working Documents. These are the ones you will definitely need for the meeting. Please download them if you are planning to attend the meeting (March 10-14), because copies WILL NOT be available at the meeting. To download, click on the underlined portion of the RIGHT HAND COLUMN.
Some of the documents will be, or have been, translated. Click on the appropriate language symbol for the language version that you need. Although almost all of the documents for translation have been submitted for translation, there is a heavy backlog in UNESCO's translations office. We hope that they will be ready in time for the meeting. In the meantime the English version will be available.
The other documents, in blue, are background documents that will keep you abreast of GOOS developments. You do not have to bring them to the meeting if you do not wish to. However, we hope you will take the opportunity to read them to keep up to date with GOOS developments.
Please revisit the site every few days to check for new documents. Let me know if you have any enquiries about the documents or the meeting.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Regards
