The Review of GOOS 
and Answers to the Questionnaire

 

The Final Report on the Review of GOOS is now available on the GOOS documents list http://ioc.unesco.org/goos/docs/doclist.htm 
as GOOS Report 128. That document is also IOC/INF 1185, and is one of the documents for the 22nd IOC Assembly. It contains the full text of the questionnaire that was sent to the GOOS community as part of the Review of GOOS. The Review was based on the answers to that questionnaire and on interviews conducted with key individuals.

Annex III of the Final Report says under item III.2: 
"The full text of the responses and written reports on the interviews are available on request from the Executive Secretary IOC".

The document containing those responses and reports was prepared at the end of 2002 for the Review Group. The Executive Secretary of the IOC has agreed that it should be made available on the GOOS web site before the Assembly meeting so that the process is manifestly transparent.
