Due to the redesign of the this web site and the modernisation of the IOC HAB databases, MON-DAT is no longer available on-line. We are working to merge MON-DAT into the Harmful Algal Event Informations System to be launched soon. IOC, 26 March 2007
This meta-data-base contains information on the design and implementation of harmful algae monitoring and management systems from all over the world. The data are by no means comprehensive and does thus not yet include all countries which have monitoring and management plans for harmful algae. MON-DAT is up-dated during 2000-01.
The initial compilation of information has been carried out within the ICES-IOC Working Group on the Dynamics of Harmful Algal Blooms, and has been made possible through the financial support of the Danish agency for development assistance, DANIDA.
