lack of capital, storage Facilities and canneries, grew considerably in the 1970s. In the
early 1990 the catch was about 800.000 metric tons annually, including shrimp, lobsters
and sardines.
Tourism: The annual tourist receipts are US$ 1.444 millions.
Oil and Gas: The annual production of Crude petroleum is
238.000.000 barrels and the production of natural gas is 3.757.000.000 cubic meters.
