The IOC Secretariat is based in Paris, France in the Headquarters of the
United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). We also have 2
regional offices: in Bangkok (Thailand) and Cartagena (Colombia), as well as an office in
Denmark, Copenhagen, co-ordinating the Harmful Algal Bloom programme (The IOC Science and

How to get to the IOC Secretariat ?
If you arrive in Paris through
- AIRPORT CHARLES DE GAULLE (ROISSY)
TAXI: take the taxi to 1, rue
Miollis (off Boulevard Garibaldi, close to Cambronne). Cost: approx. FF 250. This is
not to be advised between 9h and 10h, 12h and 14h, and 16h to 19h as traffic congestion
will make this a long and
costly trip!
BUS+METRO:There is a shuttlebus
(ROISSYBUS) between the airport and the Opera. There are buses every 30
minutes and the cost is approx. FF 50. From the bus stop walk to the METRO and take line 8
direction 'Balard'.
Transfer at station 'La Motte Picquet Grenelle' to line 10 direction 'Gare d'Austerlitz'
'and get off at station 'Segur'.
From there it's a 2 minute walk to rue Miollis. Cost of the metro: approx. 7 FF. All this
will take approximately 1 hour
(the bus takes 30-45 min.)
RER+METRO:There is a high-speed
rail link called RER which you can take from the airport. Take RER B
southbound (direction Orly, Robinson or St Remy-les-Ch) and get off at 'Denfert
Rochereau'. Cost approx. FF 40.
There transfer to the METRO line 6, direction 'Ch. de Gaulle-Etoile' and get off at
'Cambronne'. From there it's a 10
minute walk to rue Miollis. Cost METRO: approx. FF 6. This route will take approximately
30 minutes.
- AIRPORT ORLY
TAXI: take the taxi to 1, rue
Miollis (off Boulevard Garibaldi, close to Cambronne). Cost: approx. FF 150. This is
not to be advised between 8h and 10h or between 13h and 15h as traffix congestion will
make this a long and costly
journey.

- TRAIN: GARE DU NORD
TAXI: take the taxi to 1, rue
Miollis (off Boulevard Garibaldi, close to Cambronne). Cost: approx. FF 150. Avoid
rush hours!
METRO: take line 4 direction 'Porte
d'Orleans' . Transfer at station 'Odeon' to line 10 direction 'Boulogne, Pont de
St Cloud' and get off at 'Segur'. From there it's a 2 minute walk to rue Miollis. Cost of
the metro: approx. 6 FF. All
this will take approximately 30 minutes.
BUS: take the 49 Bus and get off at
'Cambronne'. Cost: approx. FF 6. This trip will take about 45 minutes.
