The preliminary list of sessions includes: 

  • Mud volcanism, diapirism, gas hydrates and hydrocarbon potential of deep sedimentary basins.
  • Biogeochemical interactions.
  • Slope stability, neo-tectonics and geo-hazards.
  • Deep-sea depositional systems and modern analogues.
  • Ocean ridges.

Additional sessions on other topics can be included, provided a reasonable number of talks is submitted.

Students, both under- and post-graduate will not be charged with a registration fee, provided they present a scientific talk or poster. For all others, the registration fee will be 100 Euros.

The accommodation costs would amount to 25-50 Euros per person per night. Efforts are being made to provide some limited financial support for the accommodation of students presenting results of their research, upon a personal request. Priorities will be given to those students who have participated in one of the TTR cruises.
