Ocean: Our Legacy for the Future
Workshop, Escola Municipal Rodrigo Otavio Filho

The event "Ocean: our legacy for the future"  is promoted by Escola Municipal Rodrigo Otávio Filho  and sponsored by Rio de Janeiro City Hall.

It consists of workshops which have already been developed, from September up to October 24. On that date, all the works developed will be presented,as well as   art works about the 1998 IYO will also be exhibited. Our project aims is to make school communities aware of the importance of the marine environment preservation.

The works are divided into four proposed themes: marine environmental quality, maritime transportation, ocean natural resources and the effects of tourism on the marine habitat. There will be shown movies concerning the creatures of the sea. The event will take place at Escola Municipal Rodrigo Otávio Filho 408, Irajá, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil, CEP 21.371-120.
