The 1998 International Year of the Ocean
Classroom is intended for both teachers and students (10-18 yrs). The Classroom will be
developed to include a wealth of Internet-based information resources related to the Ocean
which can be used in Your classroom.
In this first version of the Classroom we
are providing you with an extensive list of URLs subdivided in a number of themes.
Additionally we are also providing access to
the IOC's 'Ocean Pilot' database which
contains over 1200 ocean-related URLs!
