JCOMM Secretariat

The JCOMM Secretariat is joint between the WMO and the IOC:

• At the WMO, it resides in the Ocean Affairs Division of the Applications Programme Department
• At IOC/UNESCO, it resides in the Ocean Observations and Services Section, which also serves the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) and the International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE).

The cooperation of the joint secretariat is guided by an MoU (doc 60kB) adopted by both the WMO and IOC.
